Cycle 6 Day 10

I made it through the week with very few issues!  I was working from the office most of the week and found it a nice change, I missed the regular interaction with co-workers.  I did my best to stay away from the few people who were coughing and sniffling as well as large meetings.  I only had a few bad moments where the side-effects of the medications made it look as if English were my third language.  I struggled to find words to fit into a sentence.  People are so understanding, most would wait a couple of seconds before saying I know what you mean and then I would carry-on.  This seems to occur when I get tired or hungry and got better as the week went on and by Friday I was doing very well with the vocabulary of a fifth grader; an improvement to be sure.

This morning I am feeling back to my normal self and am looking forward to three months of IV and side-effect free days!   I am also expecting the feeling to gradually come back in my fingertips over the next few months.  My energy levels are very good; actually I believe they are back to the level they were prior to any of this lymphoma stuff being in the picture.

For the weekend I am planning on hopping on the trainer for a bit today, making some post caps for our fence I built last year and then tomorrow heading out for another run with my Sunday running friends before relaxing in the afternoon and getting ready for our trip.

A well rounded couple of days.

Type to you later...
