I have to report form yesterday's test results and onc appointment; first my blood work came out as expected, white cell and platelets a tad low but acceptable. then the results of the x-ray were a bit surprising, the result came back that the nodule seen on the CT was gone, the radiologist had to refer to the CT to even know where to look. This means that my immune system took care of the lung infection, good news!
I am getting ready for my final go at the big drip and will let you all know when I am safely at home tucked in on the couch for the final time; a very happy day for Lori and I. It seems like only a short while ago when we were talking about what to expect from the treatments and this has gone far better than we ever imagined.

Wow, great news about the lung nodule! This entire experience seems to have been a positive one, and hopefully this can all be put behind you after today...hoping for a happy summer for you 2!
