Saw the surgeon this morning and confirmed what we already know, my gallbladder needs to come out.
I explained the recent episodes and that I have stopped exercising as it seems to help cause the episodes and that I am ready at his soonest opening with a flexible work schedule. The outcome was I ma on the list and he has no idea how long it will take to get me in although if I have additional trips to emergency this may speed things up. I guess I will go to emergency for every episode rather than medicating at home, this seems wasteful of our medical system but it hurts and I want to get back to my life.
Meantime I will keep my GP current with anything new and hope for the best...
Everything else is going well with no complaints so all-in-all I am good.
On a very happy note Lori ran the half marathon on Sunday and hit her target time and is now getting ready to run Boston this coming April, another winter of long running! Life is good.
